Early Morning Notebook: Mid Summer of an Election Yr

Lincoln Project Energy: we did not become Republicans to be THIS racist in public. We have to work...in an office.

Evangelical Energy: God gave me social security so I could have the peace and comfort to vote for people trying to take it away from me.

Irony: if Georgia and Florida elected the blk Dem they would have shutdown earlier, with more force, and been out of the pandemic quicker...and Trump would be more popular in those states b/c the residents wouldn't have suffered the consequences of GOP policy. But also your conservative white grand daddy might also be alive b/c of those blk dems...so he could vote for Trump. Oh the lasagna layers of America's wacky moral compass. Blk ppl saving old white ppl so they can go out and hurt blk ppl in order to get rich white ppl who will kill poor white ppl...and then blame invisible Mexicans and ANTIFA. And the sick poor white ppl will hate these imaginary libs until their last dying, covid-diseased breath. Afterward, real Mexicans and gays move into their homes, spruce up the neighborhood, and increase property value. And then they'll get kicked out by rich white ppl.

Werking Poor: now that unemployment is at 20% can we just go back to calling ppl poor? 'Working class' is really just poor-in-training. And most ppl accept the title b/c we carry a lot of shame around money. But the majority of the country was and is one paycheck from disaster...aka poor. And the top 1% call you 'working class' so you don't think about the systemic reality. But really you are the "working poor." You will spend most of life on the edge of poverty AND you will have to work your ass off just to stay alive. And so will your children. Your pension, healthcare, housing, and education was, is and will continue to be under constant attack by the rich because it is psychological warfare to get you to be meek and scared and ashamed...and unable to see that there are far more working poor people than the 'inherited rich class.' It has nothing to do with pleasing Jesus or 'working' into or up from your class. You are the working poor. And until you change the economic model, the rich will just try to hide the reality from you by giving you fancy aspirational titles while denying you basic human dignities.

100,000 Killed: Tragic Landmark

As America hits 100,000 corona virus deaths, we have decided that we are done with quarantine. It's boring, it's depressing, so we banish this rule in de facto. States are reopening, ppl are being encouraged to go back to work, and the virus is surging through the middle of the country. Clusters and pockets are breaking out in half of the states. Infections and deaths are overwhelming hospitals in Georgia and North Carolina...but we're done with the virus. We've decided it by our actions, by our leadership, by our feelings.

There is nothing more important than the feelings of middle of America, and by feelings I mean 'comfort' and by middle America I mean 'white.' The common comforts of middle America take precedent over life and liberty. Murder through omission and boredom is the law of the land.

We are used to living a reality of self-help positivity and internet comfort culture so if you ghost someone/something and just keep living your life...they’ll eventually go away or get processed out our your circle by an algorithm. This pandemic has become inconvenient so on some deep subconscious level ppl are thinking ‘I’m just focus on positive thoughts and live my life and the ‘rona will get the hint...it’s over.’ But a virus isn’t a tinder date...you can’t ghost it and expect it to ignore you at the grocery store because it’s awkward. We have raised ppl -right and left-wing- to just believe that their comfort factor can bend reality and facts because it works online. Many many more ppl will die because of this magical algorithmic thinking.

Bloomberg 2020

*HOW IT HAPPENED*

BEZOS: Dems are attacking me as an elitist so me and Bill think you should run for president...as a man of the people?
BLOOMBERG: How am I a man of the ppl?
BILL GATES: Well you only have a few billion dollars. I mean, don't take this personally MIkey, that's not like...real money.
BEZOS: Absolutely. You are salt of the earth, a simple apple, a used diaper rolling across the floor of an Amazon Prime warehouse, like a tumbleweave of working-class anxiety and incontinence.
BLOOMBERG: Guys, I have over $50 billion. I have money like you. I...I...
BILL: -you're like a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer cap floating in the clogged sink of Middle America. Cheap, dirty, but resilient.
BLOOMBERG: *crying*: I have real money!! I am not made out of wood! I AM REAL BOY-
BEZOS: -you're like a worn grain of sand at Coney Island, covered w/ insulin syringes, oxycodone pills, and hobo pee.
BLOOMBERG *runs off in tears*
BILL: Oh come on, don't cry, Mike. Do you need a tissue? I got a billion dollars you can wipe your eyes with....we just gotta show the ppl how we're common folks like you.
BEZOS: So...should we just vote for Trump again or what?
