DNC Blame Game and The Ruling Class

In 2016, Obama, Pelosi and Dem establishment told Biden not to run b/c he couldn't win. They convinced him to stay out of the primary so they could put their money behind the better-bet: Hillary Clinton. Biden did as he was told. Clinton lost.

In 2020, Obama, Pelosi, and Dem establishment told Biden not to run b/c he couldn't win. Biden didn't listen and he reached out to Rep. Jim Clyburn, who helped swing black voters toward Biden. Biden won.

In 2024, Obama, Pelosi and Dem establishment told Biden he couldn't win. They convinced him to drop out in favor of someone who had a better shot like Kamala Harris. Biden did as he was told. Harris lost. 

And now the post-mortem is 'wow, what a failure Biden was, huh!' In 3 diff elections the Dem establishment told him not to run in favor of a better candidate. In both cases the 'so-called' better candidate was out-organized and hustled and lost. The one time Biden did not listen, is when he won. 

The failure doesn't seem to be with Biden but with the DNC and the Dem establishment. They are horrible pickers who have used their position to stifle Bernie Sanders, grassroots movements, youthful future leaders like AOC and Jasmine Crockett. They used their power to promote moderate corporate Dems who look and sound like soft Republicans. Then they lose and blame Biden and leftists. 

It's clear that in a 12 yr sample that 1) Dems do not need more money 2) they can NOT out-right-wing the Republican party to appeal to white voters 3) they actually have a base of young voters, blk women, and POC who they continually take for granted and that leads to a depressed voter turnout. 

Yet they run toward Liz Cheney and insurance lobbyists. They keep losing and begging for donations to pour more money into their terrible decision-making process.

Btw, Obama, Pelosi, Bloomberg, McConnell, and Schumer were active participants in suppressing Occupy Wall Street, the largest grassroots class-based movement in American history. It's one of the few bipartisan issues where everyone got together...to act like Republicans. And they busted up the tents, arrested the leaders, shattered an actual movement of the people that favored their side. So there is that. I have never forgotten OWS as another in the 1 million opportunities the DNC squandered youth vote and working class white ppl who were sick of healthcare costs, corporate greed. Ppl actually rose up against Wall Street raiding small farms, business owners, and home owners.  And Dems and Republicans united to crush OWS.

Both parties love identity-based politics...as long as you don't use 'class' as your identity. Because the only ppl who are hyper aware of class identity...is the ruling class.  The billionaires. If poor white ppl, poor blk ppl, poor brown ppl started identifying with their class first and for the class betterment first, it would be game over for the tech oligarchs. If working class ppl of all colors got together, they could win every single election on whatever platform they wanted. Therefore that's the one thing the ruling class does not want anyone to do. So we play these games while insurance companies charge you out of house and home, deny your medical treatments, and private equity firms make owning a house unattainable to the vast majority of young people.
