Sonnet 33: Diamond Angels

By Aurin Squire

In presence of Diamond Angels I dwell
Peals of nectar from the heart's bell sung
Echo twirling through the sapphire well
Unending sea when the instrument's rung.

Gypsy ladies signal voodoo trances
Sirens wail and roar cross the ruby sky
Blood-drinking witches w/ cauldrons dances
Hypnotize demons with their lullabies.

Axes and knives cover the wheeling star
It turns faster and closer to the throne.
Slashing and hacking pieces flung afar
Seed split open, and then we're alone.

Meditative waves cross universes
In deceptively simple 14 verses.
